Success is not a place at which one arrives but rather the spirit with which one undertakes and continues the journey.

What’s in a Name?

Names and hurtful labels can impede a person’s ability to live a happy life. It’s one of the reasons we changed our name from CMARC to NuPath. We’re proud to be part of a national movement that is striving to eliminate the stigma of labels, protecting the constitutional rights of more than seven million people in the United States with developmental disabilities.

At NuPath, our mission is to provide people with disabilities the support needed to live, work, learn, grow and participate to their fullest potential in their community. We support and share each person’s unique life journey toward achievement and fulfillment.

Our agency was founded in 1968. Since then, we’ve helped more than 3,000 people celebrate lives worth living and discover the courage to reach for their dreams. Our services have broadened, to include people with physical and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, emotional disorders and Autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Syndrome. On any given day, more than 300 people follow their own life’s path through our residential, employment and day habilitation programs. Ninety percent of people who have found work through NuPath remain employed.

I hope you’ll be a frequent visitor to our new website, and if you’re not already a NuPath supporter, I hope you’ll become one.
