Move N Groove

Purpose of group: The purpose of the sensorimotor group is to assist our individuals in organizing a response to the self, others, and their environment.  There are many goals to a group like this but ultimately the goal of the the group is to help them receive, organize and respond to the stimuli given.  We also want to increase sensory awareness and help develop and /or maintain gross motor skills such as balance, range of motion, coordination, endurance and dexterity.

Delivery:  The method in which the group is delivered is thru a non-competitive and accepting environment that helps simulate the senses and include gross motor activities.
